1 lb cottage cheese 4% milkfat 2 eggs 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1/4 cup oil 1/2 cup sourdough starter fed or unfed 1 tbsp baking powder 1 cup flour oil for frying
Combine all of the ingredients in a large mixing bowl – cottage cheese, eggs, sugar, vanilla, oil, starter, baking powder and then flour.
Mix after adding each ingredient.
Preheat your skillet with oil on medium heat.
Fry the pancakes on each side until golden.
Serve as is or with maple syrup, fruits, butter, or jam.
