1lbground beef
3 tbsp sesame oil
1/4cupsoy sauce
1/2cupbrown sugar
1tbspsriracha
splashrice vinegar
4clovesgarlic
1tspgrated fresh ginger
2green onions, finely chopped
toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
Heat 3 tbsp sesame oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and stir until most of the beef has been cooked.
Add pressed garlic and grated fresh ginger.
Keep frying the beef with the garlic and ginger until beef is fully cooked about 6-8 mins.
In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, and a splash of rice vinegar.
Mix together to create a marinade.
Add the marinade to the ground beef in the frying pan. Simmer for about 5 mins until the sauce becomes glossy.
Serve the Korean BBQ Ground Beef over hot rice or wrapped in a lettuce leave.
