Lemon, Ginger and Honey Concoction-Natural Cold and Flu Remedy

This simple yet potent mixture combines the tangy zest of lemons, the warming kick of ginger, and the sweet healing touch of honey. Ingredients

  • Costco 5 lb lemons
  • 1 lb ginger root
  • Local raw honey 3-5 cups.

Instructions

  • Cut the lemons in 4 long pieces
  • Remove all seeds. The seeds will add a bitter taste.
  • Peel the ginger root
  • On your kitchen aid mixer, using the meat grinder attachment, grind all of your lemon and ginger into the large bowl.
  • Add honey one cup at a time and taste. Make sure you taste the sweetness of the honey.
  • I like to store my concoction in mason jars and in the fridge. Sometimes I will stick some into the freezer or share with friends and family.
  • Eat as is, or add to your favorite cup of tea.
  • I recommend eating a few tablespoons a day to prevent cold and flu.
