Preheat your oven to 350°F.
In a small saucepan, melt 1 cup chocolate chips with 1 stick of butter and 1 + 1/4 cup sugar.
In your kitchen aid mixing bowl add 3 eggs, 2 tbsp oil, and 1/2 cup sourdough starter. Whisk on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
In a separate mixing bowl, add 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/4 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1 tsp baking powder. Whisk together.
Once the melted butter and chocolate chips have cooled. Add it into the wet ingredients and whisk to create a creamy smooth mixture.
Then add in the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix.
Leave 1 cup of chocolate batter on the side.
Pour the rest of the chocolate batter into a 9x13 baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Next in your kitchen aid mixing bowl add 1 package cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 egg, and 1/2 tsp vanilla.
Mix well for 2 minutes until smooth and creamy.
Pour over the chocolate batter in blotches.
Then add the remaining 1 cup of chocolate batter over the cream cheese in blotches.
With a knife make the swirl. Do not over mix or it will become one batter color.
Bake for 50-60 mins. Or until a toothpick or a knife comes out clean right in the middle.
Remove from the baking pan, cut, and serve.
