Sourdough Tortillas
Sourdough tortillas are soft, pliable flatbreads perfect for tacos, burritos, or quesadillas.

- 1/2 c sourdough discard
- 1/4 c oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 c water
- 1 1/2 c flour
In the kitchen aid bowl, add all of the ingredients, sourdough discard, flour, water, oil, salt, and sugar.
Knead on speed 2 for about 3 minutes.
Once everything is well incorporated place on a slightly floured counter and divide the dough into 8 equal size pieces.
Roll each dough piece into a ball.
Flatter out each ball using a tortilla press or a rolling pin. If you're using a rolling pin make the tortilla as thin as possible.
On a heated skillet, fry each tortilla for about 1 min on each side.
Transfer the cooked tortilla to a tea towel to help keep it nice and soft.
