How I Fell in Love with Sourdough
Hi, I’m Veronika!
A former dental assistant that turned into a stay-at-home mom who fell in love with sourdough baking. It took me years to create my first successful loaf, but once I did, I knew I wanted to help others on their sourdough journey.
As a stay at home mom I wanted to focus on simple, natural living and making more homemade food for my family. That’s when I found sourdough baking—but my journey wasn’t easy.
Years of Trial and Error
I didn’t have anyone to guide me, and there were so many failed attempts along the way. I remember when my dough would spread out on the counter top like a flat pancake. I gave up more times than I can count. But I kept trying, learning through trial and error until I finally made a loaf I was proud of.
Why I Started This Blog
Once I figured out how to bake with sourdough, I knew I wanted to help others who might be struggling like I did. I didn’t want anyone else to feel lost or alone in the process. That’s how this blog came to be—a place where I can share what I’ve learned, offer simple and approachable recipes, and be here to support you on your sourdough journey.
