Korean BBQ ground beef features seasoned ground beef cooked to perfection, infused with a delicious blend of soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar. This flavorful dish can be enjoyed with rice or wrapped in lettuce leaves.
I love having ground beef on hand for those nights when I need a super quick meal. I prefer to feed this to my family vs heating up a frozen pizza. It only takes 30 minutes to have a DELICIOUS meal on the table.

Tools you may need

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef (I love using our local grass fed beef because the flavor is just amazing!)
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- splash of rice vinegar
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions:
- Heat 3 tbsp sesame oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and stir until most of the beef has been cooked.
- Add pressed garlic and grated fresh ginger.
- Keep frying the beef with the garlic and ginger until beef is fully cooked about 6-8 mins.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sriracha, and a splash of rice vinegar. Mix together to create a marinade.
- Add the marinade to the ground beef in the frying pan.
- Simmer for about 5 mins until the sauce becomes glossy.
- Serve the Korean BBQ Ground Beef over hot rice or wrapped in a lettuce leave.
- Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
