If not your missing out!!! This dish features tender, juicy short ribs marinated in a blend of soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger for a bold, flavorful taste. Perfect for a summer barbecue or a special occasion, this dish is sure to impress your guests. So, fire up the grill and let’s get started!

Grill Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, garlic, onion, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the sliced short ribs to a 9×13 glass dish and pour over blend mix, make sure all of the short ribs will be covered in the sauce. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the short ribs from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked.
  6. Serve the Korean BBQ short ribs on a platter and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

Crockpot Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, garlic, onion, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the sliced short ribs to the bowl and pour over blend mix, make sure all of the short ribs will be covered in the sauce. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Place short ribs and marinade into the crockpot and cook on high for 4 hours. (This will make them fall off the bone)
  4. Optional step is to fry on a skillet or grill for slight crisp.
  5. Serve the Korean BBQ short ribs on a platter and sprinkle with chopped green onions.

Air Fryer or Skillet Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, mirin, sesame oil, garlic, garlic, onion, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the sliced short ribs to the bowl and pour over blend mix, make sure all of the short ribs will be covered in the sauce. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  3. Place short ribs on by one in one layer on the air fryer rack.
  4. Air fry for 5-7 mins, flipping in the middle. If you’re using a cast iron skillet, fry each side for 5 mins or until crisped to your liking.
  5. Serve the Korean BBQ short ribs on a platter and sprinkle with chopped green onions.
